Prakhyat has long been drawn to solving problems and building practical solutions. Growing up in Rai, Chhattisgarh, in a family of modest means, he experimented with small, workable ideas to fix everyday issues around him, and his neighbours and friends often turned to him for help figuring things out, long before he thought of engineering as a career. His curiosity was not limited to gadgets. He was equally interested in questions of infrastructure and how communities function, ideas that would later feed into his choice of civil engineering.

He brought the same problem-solving instinct with him when he joined JNV Barwani and, through it, Avanti's coaching programme.

He saw Avanti's free coaching as his chance to prepare for the JEE without worrying about cost, a significant relief given his family's financial constraints. In his words: "Being selected for Avanti's program meant I could prepare for JEE without worrying about fees." Determined not to fall behind in a demanding and competitive field, Prakhyat leaned on Avanti's structured coaching, which helped him build patience with himself while improving his conceptual understanding through regular test preparation, revision classes, and consistent mentorship. "I learned how to approach problems methodically and how to manage time during exams," he recalls.

For him, this was an important opportunity: to pursue his own goals and to help improve his family's financial situation and build a better future for them. His long-term aim is to build sustainable, affordable solutions to real agricultural problems back home. He hopes to become a role model for students in his village, showing them what is possible with talent, perseverance, and the right support.

With Avanti's coaching behind him, Prakhyat scored an All India Rank of 11,077 in JEE Advanced, a meaningful step forward in his journey.

Prakhyat is now pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering at IIT Hyderabad, where he will learn the foundations of building at scale and move closer to the practical, real-world solutions he has long wanted to create.
